JUST KEEPING IT REAL 👋 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This is my transformation of losing 30 lbs.. BUT I actually lost 110 lbs in totally before this. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You're thinking, hang on - Why aren't you sharing the 110 lbs (50 KG) loss?! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Well I want to share the present moment. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What happened you ask? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So let's say I went through a sh*t storm a couple of years ago. Personal things happened, and.. Yep I went back to emotional eating. Damn you cake, biscuits and all the bad stuff !! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ How did I feel?! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ At the time, I loved stuffing my face with cake !! & 10 mins later I would be weighing myself and crying in the bathroom. Can you relate too? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I knew something had to change, but I couldn't move past something & I didn't feel like putting in that work again.. it's tough right ?! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So, you know something !! Wanna Stop Emotional Eating & ACTUALLY start achieving your desired Transformation?! I GOTCHU 👀 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I used to be an avid binge eater since the age of like 10 !! I'd let all of my negative emotions get the best of me and turn to comfort food 🧁 I've learnt a lot along the way, and it has took me to a place where I can now help others too, my clients do fantastic 👏 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I'll now share the good with you starting with these 3 Hacks !! ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ➡️ CREATE A SCHEDULE. Eating regularly-scheduled meals and, for some people, regularly scheduled snacks, can prevent overeating if you stick to the schedule. On the other hand, irregular eating habits usually spell trouble because they result in random eating and overeating. Most people schedule three meals and one or two snacks or “mini meals” at specific times of the day. Real hunger usually kicks in starting about three hours after your last meal !! Depending on your eating habits and the time of day, a small snack may be sufficient at that point. If not, you’re getting a signal that it’s time for your next meal. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ➡️ SUBSTITUTE HEALTHY BEHAVIOURS. If you’re used to eating in response to emotional situations, what can you do instead?! For a start - Make a list of activities you might enjoy that don’t involve preparing, eating or shopping for food. One of the simplest alternatives to emotional eating is walking: regular walking, speed walking, walking your dog. Craft activities not only passes the time and gives you something physical to do, but allow you to be creative and productive. ⠀ ➡️ SEPERATE HUNGER CUES FROM EMOTIONAL CUES. It can be difficult to recognize and understand the difference between eating in response to hunger and eating in response to an emotion. Learn to separate the two and self-regulate your eating by eating mindfully, and paying attention to hunger signals. Practice rating your hunger - On a scale of one to ten, just how hungry are you? If you’re not feeling hungry or you’re just a little hungry, or you’re just a little hungry, you may rate that that somewhere between one and four. Wait until you reach five, truly hungry before you eat - but don’t allow yourself to get overly hungry !!

3 REALLY DUMB THINGS I DID TO TRY AND LOSE WEIGHT QUICKLY. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So girl.. You know I'm all about teaching you how to lose weight in a sustainable way, so I want to share some things that I did in the past that completely wasted my time and energy !! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👀 1 - I was doing cardio almost every single day, and throwing myself into every class possible !! I thought the more I worked out and got a sweat on, the better. In reality, this was straining my body, and adding more cortisol to my system which actually made me hold onto weight !! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👀 2 - I was eating 1200 kcal a day !! Back then I believed that I should be eating no more than 1200 kcal a day, but I didn't realise how much this was harming my metabolism. This was a giant waste of my time, and this is WAY less than our bodies actually need. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👀 3 - I would replace meals with shakes. I did this because this is what the shops were selling, and what I was lead to believe by the media. Well it turns out that was also a waste of my time because then I'd binge anyway !! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Now it's your turn !! WHY HAVING A PLAN OF ACTION IS THE BEST WAY TO ACHIEVE YOUR WEIGHT LOSS GOAL 👏 So, we have all been on some kind of diet, been super excited in the beginning and then two weeks in you’re on the verge of a breakdown because you want to eat cake! Girl I've been there too! Why, oh why does this happen you’re asking? Well, we can never truly stick to something for long if it’s unrealistic to our habits beforehand – and if a solid plan isn’t put into place. So, as usual, your girl over here has got you, and I’m about.to dish out one of the steps I have in one of my free resources 👀 STEP ONE ⬇️ You need to work out how much you’re eating and what types of food you’re consuming. I’d make a week dairy of this, and then calculate how many servings you are consuming from different food groups. You can also do this in a tally if preferred or a blank template, such as a Food Pyramid. I would then work out your calorific intake you have each day, and depending on the detail you have put in, you can also identify how many calories come from Carbohydrates, Fats and Protein. So I'm on a Diet and I can't eat Bacon.. You ever said that to yourself ?! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Don't worry.. I used to as well lol !! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Let me tell you a few things.. and why you CAN eat that damn tasteful Bacon 🤤 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here are five bacon myths, busted !! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1. Bacon is high in calories. False. An average piece of regular sliced bacon contains about 40 calories. How you cook it, is up to you 👀 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2. Bacon’s preservatives will be the death of you. Yes, bacon’s got a lot of preservatives. No, they’re not necessarily bad for you. In fact, preservatives like sodium nitrate help keep bacon safe from food-borne illnesses like botulism, kill bacteria and keep it from spoiling. Your body produces nitrates naturally, and nitrates are also present in the majority of green, leafy vegetables. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3. Bacon boosts your cholesterol to dangerous levels. Here’s the thing: Foods with high amounts of cholesterol do not actually cause high cholesterol. In fact, whole grains have a much more major connection with raising cholesterol. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 4. Bacon will make you fat. Sure, bacon can have a high fat content, but it’s no more or less fattening because of it. One major point here.. Calories are calories, and we know bacon doesn’t have a ton of them. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 5. Turkey bacon is better for you. Contrary to popular belief, turkey better is not always a healthier alternative to pork. This depends on the cut of poultry.
